I call this guitar "The Lady." Master Luthier, singer and songwriter Peggy White also makes the very best cup of coffee you will ever drink.

Martin D-15M
I agree with everything everybody is saying about this guitar. For the price--everybody should have one--unless of course you have a 000-17SM, or something very similar. But then, when undecided, get both!!

Collings Clarence White
I don't know if Clarence ever played a Collings guitar--but I bet he would have loved this one. From the Kentucky Colonels, the Andy Griffith Show and the Byrds--Clarence was always one of my favourite pickers.

A Guitar Called Jack--Part 93
It is difficult to believe that this great guitar is just about a whole year old. Who will get one of these great Xaver Guitars for Christmas this year? See Gerry and the gang at the Cumberland Market tomorrow with a nice selection of amazing Xaver Guitars. If you are not a player--not a problem. I will give you one free lesson with the purchase of an Xaver Guitar. How can you turn down a deal like that?

Linda made thirty of these guitars--and there is only one left. I would take it home tomorrow except for the price tag. I wonder does the pick (lower right) come with it?

1956 0-18T
1956 Martin 0-18T Tenor acoustic: Adirondack Spruce top with Mahogany back and sides. This little gal has a very sweet, well balanced tone; a strong but restrained voice that cuts through a mix. This model was only available as a special order from 1929-1993. The tenor guitar gained popularity in the early part of the 20th century as banjo players started gravitating towards the guitar, but didn't want to learn a whole new set of chords and scales, the tenor guitar being tuned the same as a tenor banjo. This model was played by Nick Reynolds of the Kingston Trio, and was reissued in a limited number of 34 upon the 40th anniversary of the Trio in 1997.

Work in Progress
Tickling steel strings is one of life's greatest pleasures. The hand of a lady luthier has proven to be a necessary ingredient. I believe the ladies have taken guitar building to a new level--they do not simply build instruments--they give them birth.
