Don't let your guitar dry out!!

As January comes to an end, we still have to get through February and if you live in the North, ya gotta humidify your guitar.  A little humidifier for your case can be had for around 20 bucks.  Don't let this happen to your guitar!!

Roy Buchanan

In 1988 I was staying at a hotel in Pembroke and after my evening meal I was strolling through the East End Shopping Mall.  As I was returning to my car there was a $20. bill blowing across the parking lot so I scooped it up, returned to the Mall and purchased a Roy Buchanan CD.  Returning to my car I popped the CD into the player and drove to the Inn.  I parked the car and when I popped the CD out of the player the radio engaged with news that Roy Buchanan had hung himself in a jail cell in Fairfax, Virginia.  A little spooky right?  RIP Mr. Buchanan.  Thanks for all the tunes!!

J-200

I love the J-200.  Most people do.  But some do not.  One guy called the J-200 unresponsive.  I would love to play the guitar that he said that about.  I have played many J-200's.  I have owned one for 30 years.  Some new ones are a little "new" sounding, but I did play a brand new maroon J-200 years ago and it was the finest sounding J-200 I have ever heard.  J-200's were played by Elvis, Buddy Holly, Emmylou, Johnny Cash and Stomping Tom Conners!!  If you play a J-200, you are in good company!!
