Test Drive

These Dudes are taking Peggy White's latest masterpiece for a spin.  I envy them.

Pat Metheny

Pat has more guitars than you can shake a stick at--but this old Dawg has seen more than it's fair share of play!!

Johnny Cash Black

When they name a colour after you--and that colour is Black--which is not even a colour but the lack thereof--then you must realize that you are a somebody!!

Aged D-28

What do you think of this?  I don't like it.  I have the de-stressed "Roadworn Telecaster", but for a D-28, personally I'd like to mark and scuff it up myself.  I don't get a lot of comments here on the old Blog--but I'd really like to hear what you have to say.  I recently test drove the Gibson J-45 1942 reissue.  It is in pristine condition and that's how I would prefer to see this.  Now this guitar may or may not be patterned after a specific year's version--but to me each mark on your guitar is a character mark.  So how much character is involved when your wear marks and dings are templated?
