Lenny and Chet

Happy Canada Day from Lenny and a Happy Fourth of July from Chet.  1965 was a good guitar year for me, and we gang of wannabe pickers referred to each other affectionately as "Chet"!!  '65 was the year we moved to Winnipeg, which was the musical capital of North America!!  In 1970 I was playing the Merrigold Lounge on Portage Avenue with "The Brothers Stacey Flatt"--I remind you that we were just out of the '60s--and Lenny was playing the banquet room on the second floor.  Lenny would sit with his tea--yes, he was on the tea--and give his undivided attention to every note I played.  (Lenny listened to every guitar player like that!!)  Man do I miss these two!!
