Bob Dylan SJ-200

The Bob Dylan SJ-200 Player’s Edition is based on his personal guitar. The design is unique, with Dylan’s eye logo on the headstock, Bella Voce mother-of-pearl inlays on the fretboard and an engraved design on the dual pickguards. It is constructed with Adirondack red spruce and hand-selected AAA flamed maple. It also has an LR Baggs Anthem pickup. The 20-fret vintage-style guitar has a bone nut, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and Gold Gotoh Keystone tuners. The Early ’60s SJ-200 Ebony has a narrower 1.68″ nut width for enhanced playability. It has a Sitka spruce top, flame maple back, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The classic rock ‘n’ roll look of the guitar is completed with an ebony lacquer.

2015 Greenfield G2

There are so many great luthiers out there today one hardly knows where to start.  Michael Greenfield is one of the greats, and this wonderful piece is great for fingerstyle, but also more than suitable for any style you would like to play.

Ibanez AVN2

Do you prefer the de-stressed, road worn look?  Or do you prefer your new guitar to look new?  All guitars will occasionally get a little ding--should they be repaired?  or should they be considered character marks?

Ibanez Pre-worn

I love guitars.  (You may have guessed that by now.)  And I love old guitars.  But finding old guitars in A1 condition is not always possible--and when you do find one--the price... Yikes!!  So... how do you feel about new guitars that look like old guitars?  You've seen most of my guitars right here on this very Blog, so you know that my old guitars are in mint condition.  Should a new guitar look new--and should an old guitar look old.  My guitars certainly do get played, but after playing I wipe them down--especially the strings--and keep them in their case.  Therefore--if I want an old looking battered guitar--I pretty well have to buy it de-stressed.  Check out my Road Worn Telecaster from this Blog--and if you like this Ibanez--check out tomorrow's Blog!!

Jim Croce

When it comes to guitar music, to me, it's all about the song--and this guy certainly knew how to combine the two masterfully.

Peggy White Maple Guitar

I am guessing Peggy has the binding on this by now--I will ask her if it is spoken for and whether or not we might get to see it at the Ottawa Guitar Show this summer.
