James, Rick and James

Three guys who had a huge influence on early Rock & Roll, but somehow didn't get the credit, nor the recognition they deserved.  James Burton has backed more big names than I can list--check him out on Google.  And how about that Rickenbaker acoustic?  Not too many of those around!!

Guitar Art

Sometimes you don't even need to play your guitar to get music!!

Gibson J-35

Yes--I do have a thing about Gibson guitars.  To me, the J-200 is the ultimate.  Elvis, Emmylou, Buddy Holly and the Everlys.  Everybody looks like somebody with a J-200 on stage.  The J-35 is an excellent place to start a relationship with Gibson guitars.  Take care of it, and it will be proudly played by your great grandchildren.

Bob Dylan SJ-200

The SJ-200 Player's Edition is a high-performance model based on Bob Dylan's personal guitar. This model is constructed with Adirondack red spruce and hand-selected AAA flamed maple. The headstock features the artist's eye logo with a Bella Voce mother-of-pearl inlay on the fret board. Double pick guards feature an engraved design, with mother-of-pearl dot inlay. This vintage-style model comes equipped with an LR Bagg™ Anthem pickup.  I got to play one of these today--it is extra cool.  And it sounds great in spite of the large double pick guards!!

Johnny Winter's Last Bird

This could very well be Johnny Winter's last Gibson Firebird.  I purchased Johnny's last CD expressly to get the Johnny Winter guitar pick that came with it.  The CD (Step Back) was superb.  You get your moneys worth with "Unchain My Heart", and the rest of the CD is free--and that includes the Johnny Winter guitar pick!!
