The new Limited Edition American Professional Pine Jazzmaster is truly unique, thanks to its grain, knotholes and man-made imperfections. Features in the new limited-edition model include a pair of V-Mod single-coil Jazzmaster pickups, 22 narrow-tall frets, a 9.5”-radius maple fingerboard and an improved tremolo and bridge that incorporate a screw-in arm and brass Mustang saddles. The model also includes a Limited Edition neck plate with a laser engraved logo on the headstock and a hardshell case.

Dolly Parton
After years of guitar blogging, I'm pretty sure I have never featured Dolly. You need only glance at this picture to see that she is the picture of showmanship. And her guitar work is not too shabby either--although she is certainly not known as a guitarist. But look at her guitar. Was it made to match her outfit? Or was the outfit made to match the guitar? Regardless, if you see her--ask her to check out this Blog!!

Joan Baez
Joan's guitar work on "Pretty Boy Floyd" is what got me into fingerstyle in the 60's. And she does have great taste in guitars. I must also congratulate Mr. Trump on this day, and if I can find a picture of him with a guitar, I will be sure to post it on this Blog.

Xaver Guitars
This left-handed grand concert guitar features a bearclaw sitka spruce soundboard and figured walnut back and sides. The binding is East Indian rosewood and the fingerboard, bridge, headstock veneer and backstrapping is ebony. A Laskin-style armrest and fast action make this guitar very comfortable to play. The side sound port allows the player to hear every nuance of the guitar's rich tone. This guitar was a custom build including a turquoise and mother-of-pearl rosary inlay on the fingerboard and headstock. Although this guitar is sold, if it interests you, give Gerry a shout and he'll build one like it just for you.

Gibson Memphis ES-335
I have always wanted to add an ES-335 to my collection, but I have never found one that measured up. I would love to give this one a test drive.

What did You do on New Year's Eve?
This Fender Jazzmaster has been with me for a lot of years, and I must say, it is really a joy to play. The bridge humbucker is a Seymore Duncan that I installed around 1990--everything else is original except for a little solder
