Happy Birthday Jerry Lee. How does The Killer get on a Guitar Blog? Well, firstly it's his 85th Birthday and then there's the three great guitars and pickers backing him up! Can you spot Albert Lee? Oh, the names are below the photo.

1942 Martin D-45
This is the 80th D-45 guitar out of a total of 91 highly sought after pre-World War II D-45s made. Long considered the holy grail of acoustic guitars, the D-45 appeared first as a 12-fret neck to to body version with snowflake fingerboard inlays owned by cowboy legend Gene Autry. Gradually the 14-fret models gained popularity and snowflakes were replaced with the bolder hexagonal pattern, as used by musicians like Stephen Stills.
